Today, the free in-game Dawning event returns to Destiny 2 to bring cheer and good tidings to all Guardians. Eva Levante is back in the Tower to help players bake delicious cookies using highly questionable ingredients. Through January 2, players can take part in the Dawning cheer and gift their tasty (?) treats to their favorite characters around the system.
New this year to the Dawning is the Event Card, where players can complete challenges to unlock rewards such as an emblem, a shader, and an Exotic Ghost. Players can also upgrade their cards with Silver to unlock another Exotic Ghost, an Exotic Sparrow, a new emote, and more. For Guardians who want to go the extra mile, completing all the Event Card challenges will grant the Seal and title “Star Baker”.
In addition to using Stasis-infused snowballs to fight, players will be able to earn the new Legendary Pulse Rifle, Stay Frosty PR7, to help in their ingredient search. More Dawning themed cosmetics, including new armor ornament sets for each class, will be available in the Eververse store during the event. Players can also take part in Moments of Triumph through the end of Season of the Seraph, as Guardians prepare for the next expansion, Destiny 2: Lightfall, launching February 28.
