Hoplon Reveals Second University Esports Tournament for Heavy Metal Machines

Universidade Regional Integrada Tournament to Take Place in Frederico Westphalen, Brazil on 21st November

Florianópolis, BRASIL – 17th November, 2017 – Hoplon, the developers of Heavy Metal Machines, the free-to-play car-combat MOBA currently in Open Beta, is delighted to announce its second university tournament to take place at Universidade Regional Integrada on 21st November, 2017.

Hoplon’s venture into in college championships continues at the Brazilian university, Universidade Regional Integrada, Frederico Westphalen in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, next week Tuesday. With Heavy Metal Machines’ competitive and combative style, Hoplon is investing deeply into the eSports scene and has already held a successful university tournament at Univali - Universidade do Vale do Itajaí in Hoplon’s home city, as well as European and South American Championships.

Partnering with Razer, the world leader in high-performance gaming hardware, software and systems, the tournament prizes include Razer gaming mice for each player on the winning team, in-game items and T-shirts.

Currently in Open Beta, Heavy Metal Machines is filled with intuitive fast-paced action, team play elements, unique MOBA gameplay and a heavy metal soundtrack, aspiring esports players, or current professionals from around the world can play on the South American server. Over the summer Hoplon released a number of updates that saw the introduction of leaderboards and bomb updates, so that the MOBA was ready for competitive play.
